The Young Professionals Council (YPC) is a community of dedicated professionals committed to CPNYC’s mission of embracing and empowering children of incarcerated parents. YPC members are catalysts for change who encourage fresh thinking and creatively raise support for this forgotten population. The YPC advances the organization by lending professional skills, building the agency's network and providing resources to support the cause.

Joining the YPC is a strategic and fulfilling way to give back to the community, and in the case of CPNYC, a community of children affected by incarceration of loved ones. The YPC is a leadership committee that consists of passionate citizens coming together to execute on mentorship, volunteer work and thought leadership. Members play a critical role in connecting CPNYC to corporate partnerships, sponsorship opportunities and hosting fundraising events during the year. As a collective the YPC expands and enhances CPNYC's network and resources.

Membership in the YPC requires leadership, dependability and a firm commitment to CPNYC's mission of breaking the cycle of incarceration. Strong candidates excel in their ability to communicate, multitask and collaborate with others in order to achieve larger goals.
