“Hi, my name is Dorothy James. I started volunteering with Children of Promise eight years ago. I found out about the program through a friend of mine. I like coming here. It's near my house. It's rewarding and I'm doing it to give back. One of the things I really enjoy seeing is some of the kids I work with now volunteering or working or doing different things...and it’s something accomplished by this program. It makes me proud to see them.”
